MONTE CARLO & HIS ORCHESTRA - GOING PLACES

IFUN FROLLICKING FANTASTIC 60’s styled Pacific Coast Jazz from MONTE CARLO & HIS ORCHESTRA

Composing, arranging, and producing recordings for MONTE CARLO & HIS ORCHESTRA is always a great joy for me.  With a  of some of the greatest studio musicians at my fingertips for the ride, every minute of these recordings reflect the enthusiasm and delight.

This collection features the orchestra’s instrumental recordings.  Note the instrumental version of the theme to the 60’s Mod Film, KISS YESTERDAY GOODBYE as well as a number of other recordings featured in that film such as GOING PLACES, ALL THE WAY UP and MAKING MY OWN SUNSHINE DAYS.

Other tracks featured on this CD, PACIFIC COAST HIGHWAY, HAPPY LUCKY DAY, NOW BOARDING and FLEURT are all from earlier film projects such as Sony Classic Pictures, FAÇADE, The Buon-Art Pictures release, L’UOMO CHE DORME, and 4th Row Films, MAKING THE BOYS.

These recordings were made in Hollywood, California and Nashville, Tenessee.  The musicians on these dates were as follows:

Piano and Organ:  Peitor Angell
